Veg Fried Rice

Veg Fried Rice- An easy to make rice recipe , mostly popular in south east Asian countries like Taiwan,china,Singapore etc. Here vegetables are stir fried and mixed with cooked rice and some sauces to give a nice flavor. Fried rice can be taken with tomato ketchup or any veg gravies .


Serves - 1-2 people
Preparation Time - Under 10 minutes
Cooking Time - Under 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
Cooked Rice - 1 bowl (As in picture)
Carrot -1/2 chopped finely
Spring Onion-1/4 cup
Beans - 10 to 12 no.s chopped finely
Peas - 1/4 cup
Soy sauce - 3 teaspoon
Vinegar - 2 teaspoon
Salt - as required
Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 4 teaspoon

METHOD:

1. Wash and rinse 1/2 cup of rice. Cook it in little grainy in texture, so that the rice doesn't stick with each other . Set that aside. Chop carrot,beans,spring onions finely. Prepare all ingredients and set ready.

2. In a pan, add 4 teaspoon of oil and add garlic,ginger and sprinkle some pepper powder and fry them till they turn golden brown.


3. Now add, spring onion and fry for another 1 or 2 minutes.


4. Now add the chopped veggies and fry for 5 to 6 minutes , till they turn soft. No need to add any water.


5. Now add soy sauce and vinegar and some salt and fry for 2 minutes.


6. Now reduce the flame to sim, and add cooked rice and mix gently for 1 minute, till the rice gets mixed well with veggies and sauce. Sprinkle some more pepper powder.Taste and adjust salt accordingly. Veg Fried Rice is ready! ..Serve with Tomato Ketchup or any veg gravies of your choice!
